Pool Renovation FAQ

HOW LONG DO MOST POOL RENOVATIONS TAKE?

Tri-State Pools has an outstanding reputation for being well managed.  Once we start a project our goal is to proceed without delay until completed.  For example, a simple resurfacing takes 3-5 days.  Total replacement of coping, tile and interior plaster takes 7-10 days.  Complete renovations inclusive of new tile, coping, interior plaster, new pool deck, new equipment & plumbing normally takes 3-4 weeks.  Fast, efficient and top quality work.

 

DO I NEED PERMITS TO RENOVATE MY POOL?

Most pool renovations do not require permits.  If your renovation project includes replacement of your pool deck or electrical work, permits would be required.  No worries though; we handle everything.  All permit applications are executed by us.   

 

DO YOU PROVIDE WARRANTIES?

ABSOLUTELY!  Tri-State offers the best warranty coverage in the industry.  A comprehensive written warranty is provided with every Renovation Contract.  All warranties are computerized for easy retrieval should the need arise.  Remember, Tri-State has been in business for over 43 years.  While other companies come and go, we will continue to stand behind our work.  Longevity & experience matters.

 

DOES TRI-STATE OFFER POOL OPENING/CLOSING & EMERGENCY SERVICE?

Although we do not provide these services directly, we have developed a “Service Referral Network” with some of the areas best pool service companies.  We work closely with our network partners to provide you with a seamless transition from project completion to pool start-up & maintenance.

DOES TRI-STATE DO SMALL REPAIRS?

Yes and no. We typically do small repairs during our slower period in July & August. During the peak months we don’t have the additional man power to handle small repairs. If the July or August time frame works for you, please send small repair requests directly to dan@tristatepools.biz. To expedite, please attach a few pictures of the areas needing repair.
